The Kentucky Bloodhound Search and Rescue Unit currently has 10 Primary Members.

"The members of KBSAR are a special group of Individually Trained Volunteers who donate their time and services by helping to find lost and missing people.  I pray that you will never need their assistance but if you ever do... It's good to know that they're there!" -DA   

In addition to the Primary Members we also have Auxiliary Members and Junior Auxiliary Members

Auxiliary Members work as Back-up Personnel

as well as assist the unit in various tasks as needed

Auxiliary Members must be 18 years of age. 

They must also complete the manditory training required by the KBSAR before being permitted to participate in any search.

Junior Auxiliary Members are under the age of 18 and must be accompanied by a responsible adult for training.

Junior Auxiliary Members are NOT permitted to go on any searches 

We currently have 1 Junior Auxiliary Member
