The History of the Kentucky Bloodhound Search and Rescue Unit
The Unit was founded in 2005 by Toni and Artie Goodman, Frank Jones and Gary Meredith. The Kentucky Bloodhound Search and Rescue Unit is in Working Agreement with the Hardin County Emergency Management Services. The Unit's primary duties are to Specialize in Searching for Lost and Missing Persons.
Unit Creation and Evolution
The unit was organized as Kentucky Bloodhound Search and Rescue, Inc. on January 6, 2005. The Articles of Incorporation were approved by Secretary of State, on February 8, 2005 and the Unit signed its first Working Agreement with Hardin County Emergency Management on February 8, 2005.
"The members of KBSAR are a special group of Individually Trained Volunteers who donate their time and services by helping to find lost and missing people. I pray that you will never need their assistance but if you ever do... It's good to know that they're there!" -DA
